Welcome Letter
Dear friend,
You are connecting to the Chamber of Concessionaires and Companies linked to the Public Sector in the scope of Public Infrastructure, Equipment and Services (CCIES).
We face a new paradigm in relations between the civil service, private companies and citizens. The present economic cycle forces us to reconsider our country’s existing mechanisms for the provision of public services.
We must be strong in order to establish the message that today in Spain we need to make strides in creating collaboration mechanisms between the civil service and private companies if we wish to maintain and positively evolve the level of the Welfare State we have constructed in recent decades.
Every one of us must be capable of reshaping the occupational, professional, business and service provision frameworks as only through doing so will we be able to save this concept of mutual solidarity in quality, efficient, streamlined service coverage.
For this reason, the Chamber of Concessionaires and Companies linked to the Public Sector in the scope of Public Infrastructure, Equipment and Services has prioritised developing this new, 21st-century philosophy of public-private partnership that allows for the Welfare State to be maintained and guarantees its sustainability.
The concessions sector’s strength and ability to innovate will only improve if we all contribute new ideas that see us advance collectively.
The invitation remains open to discover and investigate together the factors that facilitate effective distribution of responsibilities between the public and private sector, enabling society to obtain the maximum benefits of these new public-private management instruments.
If you believe our mission to be necessary, we invite you to join our institution. Your participation will provide us with more chances to develop a conceptual reference framework for public-private partnership (PPP) from a strategic, economic and management standpoint that will allow for the creation of shared value for all involved.
In any case, we are grateful for you dedicating a little of your time.
Mr Francisco Sibina Burón, Chairman
